Dr. Edward Breuer received his MA and PhD from Harvard University in Post-Biblical Jewish History and Literature. He taught at the University of Pennsylvania and at Loyola University in Chicago. He is currently visiting Professor at the Hebrew University. His research interests focus upon European Jewry of the 18th and 19th Centuries, including the Enlightment and the religious movements of the 19th century. Dr. Jeffrey R. Woolf is a Seniour Lecturer in the Department of Talmud at Bar-Ilan University, where he specializes in the History of Jewish Law and Jewish Intellectual History. He received his doctorate in medieval Jewish History from Harvard University. Prior to making Aliyah in 1993, he spent two years as a post-Doctoral Fellow at Yale University.
