Gilla Rosen is the director of the Yakar Center in Israel . She teaches Talmud and Midrash and Women in Halacha and works as a yoetzet halacha (Halakhic Adviser) for Family Laws through Nishmat. Gilla studied at Michlala College for women, at Nishmat and at Matan.She received a B.A from Barnard College and M.A in Comparative Literature from the University of Manchester . Gilla came on aliya in 1992 with her husband z"l and 6 children. She has lectured at: Nishmat, Pardes, Midreshet Lindenbaum, Matan and the Melton Program at the Hebrew University .
