Dr. James A. Diamond
James A. Diamond has an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from New York University and a PhD in Medieval Jewish Thought from University of Toronto. He presently holds the Joseph & Wolf Lebovic Chair in Jewish Studies at the University oif Waterloo and is the author of numerous articles and studies on Maimonides' thought and exegesis.
His book, Maimonides and the Hermeneutics of Concealment won the Canadian Jewish Book Award in Jewish Thought for 2003.
His second book Converts, Heretics and Lepers: Maimonides and the Outsider was published in the Fall of 2007.
