Dr. Kenneth Hart Green
Kenneth Hart Green received his BA from the University of Toronto in 1977, and his PhD in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies from Brandeis University in 1989. He has taught in the Department for the Study of Religion at the University of Toronto since 1987. His publications include Jew and Philosopher: The Return to Maimonides in the Jewish Thought of Leo Strauss and Jewish Philosophy and the Crisis of Modernity: Essays and Lectures in Modern Jewish Thought by Leo Strauss . He is currently editing Leo Strauss's Essays on Maimonides as part of the SUNY Press series, The Jewish Writings of Leo Strauss , for which he is Series Editor.
He has been invited to lecture on Jewish philosophy at such venues as Boston University, Tufts University, Boston College, University of Chicago, Middlebury College, and the Shalem Center in Jerusalem.
Green lives in Thornhill, Ontario with his wife and three children.
